Welcome to your all access pass to the world 🌎
Planning a trip is HARD WORK. It takes hours and hours of research (that is if you know where to look), an understanding of different countries and cultures, and lots of dedication to budgeting to pull off a stress-free, easy-going trip. In this blog, you will find detailed itineraries I have built for the trips I’ve been on or trips I’ve built for friends/families. You will also find a list of recommendations, things you ABSOLUTELY can’t miss, and things you can skip if you don’t have time. Feel free to reach out if you want a more personalized experience! 😀
I am a full time teacher and wife. My husband and I grew up in Texas, USA, but he took a job and we ended up in Wisconsin. We spend our free weekends exploring the Midwest and we love it.
My family and I spent a lot of summertime traveling around the continental US, and I started helping my dad plan trips starting around the age of 13/14. This sparked my interest in traveling and I have been in love with it ever since.
Fun fact: I am a coffee and tea LOVER! On my trip to Asia, I tried hojicha for the first time and became fully obsessed. If you haven’t tried hojicha (it’s kind of like matcha but has an earthier/nuttier taste), please give it a taste!
This blog is for everyone! This blog is to help out anyone who wants to travel and does not know where to start. It is intimidating to plan a trip, even I get anxious and have lots of questions when I start with a blank slate for planning a trip. I have experience with different categories of traveling: I have traveled with just one person (my best friend), I have budget traveled, I have traveled solo, I have traveled with my family (there’s six of us), and I have luxury traveled. This blog will hopefully give people a place to start and give them a sense of ease and comfort as they work their way through building an itinerary.
I am your “normal” woman. I have a full time job, an apartment, a cat, bills to pay, family and friends, and a husband. This blog is to show people you don’t have to quit your job and live off your savings to travel. You can work full time and still explore the world and fulfill your passion to travel!
There are so many amazing reasons I love to travel. I seek the excitement and thrill of going to a new country with new adventures and cultures. Travel takes me out of my comfort zone and challenges me to try new things. I always find myself learning so much history and understanding new ideas from each country I go to. To fulfill activities on a bucket list I’ve had for a number of years is so satisfying and I love when my expectations are blown out of the water.
I am a huge foodie so getting the opportunity to try new foods or try some of the best food in the world, it’s one of the best parts about visiting a new place. One of my favorite foods is Japanese food like sushi or ramen so it was life changing to visit Japan and try that type of food at it’s origin.
Learning new cultures and customs is so interesting to me. I love to hear the stories of the people and see their hard work in their architecture. One of the most interesting cultures I’ve gotten firsthand experience learning about is Roman history. Walking along the streets and learning about a totally different city that used to reside in the spot I was standing over a 1,000 years ago is something I will never forget.
Give travel a chance and it will blow your mind in so many ways!
